Ultimate Aim of Life:
I have been researching and studying about Life in past decades. All know that concept of Life is a Mystery or a Puzzle of how we were born and why we are born? Another Puzzle whether God created us or its evolution?
However, now considering only about Life, let us discuss about what is the Ultimate Aim of Life? let it be anything you wish like happiness, love, fame, rich, serve, help and so on but remember that it must be your ultimatum. This is the search for the Ultimatum.
Let is be from your Heart of what’s your Ultimate Aim of Life.

September 9, 2008 at 6:08 pm
I think life is a search towards what will make you happy. Life is about happiness.
September 9, 2008 at 6:12 pm
@ Den
Hey Happy and Sad both forms the part of Life.
September 9, 2008 at 6:21 pm
being happy even when sad will b a better option….u know takin things poisitively n stuff….
ulltimatum : shd be happyness…
September 9, 2008 at 6:25 pm
Our lives are created by God to bring God glory.
September 9, 2008 at 6:29 pm
@solomon
Yeah thats Good and nice , Wow what You said makes me Fly with Happiness, (Being Happy in Sad). W.O.W
September 9, 2008 at 6:33 pm
@theepiphancy
Glory(Again Happiness which has in addition “Happiness with Honor).
Thats great, but I guess not much people live with Glory though.
September 9, 2008 at 6:53 pm
My Ultimate of Life is to live it completely; happiness, sadness, pain, enjoyment, responsibilities, and spirituality.
More importantly, as said before, living it positively.
September 9, 2008 at 6:59 pm
@Manoj
Hey I like the Word” COMPLETELY”. Thats wonderful, which means to accept both joy and pain and completely anything.
Still I expect a better answer for “Life in General.”(not personal)
September 9, 2008 at 7:22 pm
To know God, to bring honor to God and to love people.
September 9, 2008 at 7:23 pm
To be happy is a goal for me. And if you’re happy, you’ll be less prone to making others feel badly about themselves.
September 9, 2008 at 7:32 pm
the ultimate goal of life is to recognize the Creator for who He is – then live in such a way that will bring Him honor for all He has done and WILL do. in living this, there will be persecution, ups, downs, happiness and sadness… but when you live with purpose – there will always be Joy, which is much deeper than just a “feeling”, it is a conviction.
September 9, 2008 at 8:06 pm
I’d have to agree with theepiphany.
September 9, 2008 at 8:51 pm
Life is about curiosity. We actually live only till we are actually curious.
We are curious because we want to know whether the new knowledge would increase or decrease our stock price in the stock market of life.
Suppose we have a particular talent and we find out that there is a huge demand for such talent, we will feel very happy.
The reason always feel curious is that no one bothers to find out what talent we have and what talent is in demand and then combine these two. We have to do it all by ourselves.
September 9, 2008 at 9:00 pm
Hey there, nice blog….
I believe in the scientific explanation… that the ultimate aim of life is survival and replication
September 9, 2008 at 10:34 pm
I don’t think the ultimate goal should be happiness. What if raping small children makes someone happy? I think havening a relationship with the One who created us is the ultimate goal. Only through Him is true happiness found.
That’s what I believe.
September 10, 2008 at 5:01 am
i believe that happiness is almost all about the ’self’ – what makes ‘me’ the most happy (even if ‘it’ is having everyone else ‘happy’ also – an impossible dream in a non-homogenous society).
My personal ‘Ultimate’ Aim is awareness.
Awareness of who and what i am – at all ‘levels of being’.
Awareness of how i inter-connect with all other life and ‘my’ Universe.
Awareness that is always at the fore-front of my consciousness so that i always do the BEST thing in each and every situation and second of life.
Awareness of my own deception and failings in order not to be ruled by emotion, desire, want, perceived need.
Awareness of all the things that bring unhappiness into the world in order not to ‘add’ to them.
I am unsure if i can achieve the level of awareness i feel is my Ultimate goal in this lifetime, but i believe i can make progress towards that Aim by doing what i can to increase my own awareness and remove the things that deceive me into a happy complacency.
Permanent happiness would lead to nothing but boredom without sadness as a counterpoint to it.
I think most of us ’seek’ what we don’t possess thinking that will make us ‘happy’ – from what i see of people that is generally a lot like a dog chasing it’s tail and is pretty much as ultimately unsatisfying for us in the long run.
Thank you for posting your survey

Hi Auresh,
Life is something to experience each and every min.. it might be good or bad exp, how u reach ur destination (happpiness) is impprtant. If you want to reach your destination U will have to see all types roads ( happiness, sorrow, difficulty, insult, guilt, dream… everything ) no one in this world have reached their desitnation very easily… he has to and have been reached with one or the other problems… only confidence and positive attitude can make u happy. God makes us to tase the life each every min…
pls correct me if i am wrong….
September 10, 2008 at 12:01 pm
Life is about being an encourager to others and accepting one’s roll as given to us by the Almighty. As to where we came from? I prefer to believe that I was a created being with a devine purpose than evolving from a monkey.
September 10, 2008 at 3:33 pm
What is life?
Life is to be the kind of person our dogs think we are.
think about it….who are we to our pets? are we in everyday life that kind of person?
September 10, 2008 at 4:47 pm
@ Virgo
Hey, You are soo nice.
I liked the way U said, If U are Happy U wont make other’s sad. Wow, thats so nice.
September 10, 2008 at 4:54 pm
@ Tam
I guess the creator(if) created us to live peacefully. I think that Creator will not (and wont) expect anything from us.
September 10, 2008 at 4:55 pm
My ultimate aim of life would be revealing the truth abt “why I was actually born here(as a human) and what I’m supposed to do?” I mean, there must be something we’re meant to do. It maybe giving happiness to self or others, love, patriotism, Faith in God or anything. Trying to find it and accomplish it and that’d be my aim
FYI, I’ve not yet figured it out
September 10, 2008 at 5:03 pm
@Ganesh
hey so true, You say more of “Life is Prewritten concepts”.
well, your lines “there must be something we’re meant to do”
Its also actually happening to some even me” prewritten like happenings”.
good thought
September 10, 2008 at 5:14 pm
@amolpatil2k
Hey, your explanation was so nice.Even I thought about it. Right from baby we are just curious and wanted to learn what interests us. The word “Curious” was used correctly in your statements. I liked it very much!!
September 10, 2008 at 5:33 pm
@perx
hey of all yours was the short and sharp note about just Life.
I feel that “Survival of Fittest” should be for animals, it should not be there for the “Brainy Humans” I suppose
September 10, 2008 at 6:09 pm
Life is all about love..
Love can be contrasted from tragedy to romance.. all fall within the walls of “love”
At the end of the day, its not your bank account, or your house, or cars, that comfort you in your dying breath..
Its about the people you care about, and those who care about you..
In order to live a “complete” life, one must choose to love each chance you get..
September 11, 2008 at 11:37 am
God gives a distinct assignment in life here on Earth so we all have unique purpose in life.
September 11, 2008 at 11:51 am
My aim in life is to live as if each day were my last, just not so much where I end up in the ER every day. Live and be.
September 11, 2008 at 8:41 pm
@sureshrec22
Hey, i didn’t say “survival of the fittest” still applies… i just said that survival and replication was the basic aim… in the human world “survival of the smartest” applies…
September 12, 2008 at 9:02 am
@atxm
Life is to Love and Love will explain Life
Sure! I experienced this!!
September 12, 2008 at 9:07 am
@Perx
Hi, Oh Ya, correct. Yes, survival and replication is the Life Cycle of the Every Animal or Plant!! Its very Truth.
September 12, 2008 at 10:54 am
when i will know the ultimate aim of life it mean i have reached then there will be no speaking.
September 12, 2008 at 11:15 am
99.9999 percent people with me do not know the ultimate aim of life.
September 12, 2008 at 6:22 pm
@Vinit
Hey, I just asked the aim of Life, Guess what?? You went to find the mystery of life!!!
What’s aim!! Just what U think you want to Live Like or do with your Life
September 12, 2008 at 10:35 pm
The ultimate aim of life to follow the One who has won the battle between good and evil…share love and understanding with our brothers and sisters…Help each other to live with love, faith, hope …to live with God is to live with aim…with Him we live…. without Him is death itself…a life which is aimless…useless…
September 15, 2008 at 4:52 am
dear suresh
i m not talking about aim of life , the ultimate aim of life.
September 21, 2008 at 6:42 pm
Life is a journey towards death, and hopefully in the process we explore the place called our world, we feel the range of emotions, we meet people and learn about them, we intertwine part of our lives with the some of those we meet and hopefully find out about ourselves.
Death is not such a scary thing, so long as you knew you had lived every minute and second of your life to the fullest.
September 21, 2008 at 6:48 pm
@Phenyl Hexanol
Seems to be an Chemical Name. I wish Your chemistry with others are good.
I really liked your words”Life is a Journey towards Death”. Its simply true.
Your last lines, every second of your Life to the Fullest adds the Energy to it.” Wonderful Lines.
September 21, 2008 at 7:05 pm
I think the ultimate aim in life is to interact. We are spirits having a human experience and we come to live in order to learn, touch and grow. To interact with others and perhaps become something better than we are currently. The secret in life, I feel is so simple people miss it. The purpose, I believe is love, learning to be a part of a whole and not just a single. In the end only love can save and create something new.
September 21, 2008 at 7:15 pm
My ultimate aim of life is not worrying about what the ultimate aim of life is. Since none of us know what the ultimate aim of life is it seems pointless to worry about it. Worry less about where we came from and what we’re doing here and just enjoy the fact that we are here. Have fun not matter what. It’s never that serious. It’s just not. No matter what uis going on in your life it’s never that serious. Life is to short and to precious to worry about such things. Worriers need to take the tin foil off their heads and live a little.
September 21, 2008 at 7:25 pm
@ RainMaker
Hey Hi, I guess we need not actually worry to think of aims.
However, its good that we have aims.
More clearly, this is not about evolutionary aspect of Life, but
living for aims.
September 21, 2008 at 7:29 pm
The ultimate aim of life is to simply live…to exist. I don’t believe there is any higher purpose.
On a personal level, my aim in life is to raise thoughtful, caring children, but that is a personal goal.
September 21, 2008 at 7:43 pm
@justanotherjer
Hi, Yours is so lively. Ya, personal Goal is also a Goal in Life.
Its so wonderful to care the innocent children s.
September 21, 2008 at 8:05 pm
Aim of life is to spread love and peace to all human beings.
September 21, 2008 at 8:10 pm
“The aim of life”
Is to gain this ability in life-it’s very simple, just a skill-the ability to free your mind of the past, to free your mind of the future fears, and to be able to play with every situation that is in front of you, to be able to take every situation that is in front of you.”
September 21, 2008 at 9:02 pm
Hi, What an interesting survey this is…with some fascinating responses! Of course, I can’t speak for the majority, only for myself as a part of the whole:
I believe that love, with EVERY thing that involves, is (or should be) the aim of life. Knowing and giving love in its truest form is the only aim that can bring us to personal fulfillment (self-love) and thus, allow the basic structure and fertile ground toward our love for the infinite (God, Higher Power, etc.).
~Namaste~
September 21, 2008 at 9:49 pm
I believe that life is about happiness, just not always our own personal happiness.
September 21, 2008 at 9:51 pm
The ultimate aim of life is to live together as one. To be at peace. To be living a passionate life. To discover your true life’s purpose. To believe in a universal God who is the ultimate creator of oll life. To learn from our children. To see the world from a child’s point of view. To be blessed and to bless others in need. To help those who have been hurt. To listen to your fellow man. To hold and comfort a lost and lonely soul. To live one day at a time. To live without fear. To live in love.
September 21, 2008 at 10:25 pm
I think the ultimate aim of life is to learn how, and then to become the best human being it is possible for me to be. That may be a goal that cannot be reached, but in the process of that aim, I will constantly be reaching out beyond myself, while reaching inward to my own soul, heart, and mind. In that manner, I will continue to complete the circle of life that is ultimatley and uniquely mine to live.

September 21, 2008 at 10:35 pm
I think the ultimate aim in life is to live as near to your own heart as you can, to follow that which is within you and not let the outside interfere. I think that a certain tranquility can come only from within and reaching the people (not really the things, at all) who matter most to you, whomever they might be. We´re on the Earth together, not in order to make our own lives worth living, but to do that to others, which in the process comes full circle. That is the aim I can see.
September 22, 2008 at 1:20 am
For me Aim in life would be not to worry about what is the ultimate in Life and live the current minute.
My current aim is to be as ordinary as possible. Some time being ordinary people is cool.
September 22, 2008 at 3:00 am
The ultimate aim of life is to love others through the love that God has given us. He sent us ultimate love through Christ, and the ultimate aim of a human is to have a personal relationship with the Creator of life and to overflow that love into every relationship and help those that can’t help themselves.
September 22, 2008 at 5:27 am
Happiness is an emotion. It comes and goes. True happiness only comes thru true joy. Even if we are feeling sad, we still have joy. The joy of our strength is the Lord (Jesus). In Him and in Him only, is where real joy is found. It is everlasting. God is our creator and it’s for His purpose and pleasure that He created us. To be in a personal relationship and fellowship with Him and to bring glory and honor to Him in all we do. His pleasure is in our prosperity. Our prosperity which comes from Him is not for us to keep, but to share. God first loved us, therefore, Jesus said the first and greatest commandment is to love others as yourself. He is our example. This is our purpose in life. Our destiny is not discovered, but revealed to us by God.
September 22, 2008 at 7:01 am
I feel we were put on this earth partly because for God’s amusement. So I say, be as amusing as you possibly can
September 22, 2008 at 9:08 am
The Greatest Commandment
One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, Of all the commandments, which is the most important?
The most important one, answered Jesus, is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
The second is this: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.
Well said, teacher, the man replied. You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him.
To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbour as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.
When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, You are not far from the kingdom of God. And from then on no-one dared ask him any more questions.

The ultimate aim of life is to love God and to keep His commandments. At the end of this life, we will be expected to account for our life, and we will have two choices.
One choice will be to depend on our own actions–both good and bad–to somehow pleasae a holy and righteous God. It won’t work.
The other choice will be to depend upon the death of Jesus Christ on the cross to remove all our guilt. God promises to accept our faith in Christ as though we actually were holy and righteous in His eyes.
September 22, 2008 at 12:18 pm
interesting post … I think the ultimate goal in life is become a better person as time goes on. To reach a higher level … to be able to look within yourself and honestly see where you need to improve and work towards that goal. To be open to where paths lead and see the direction/s taken are on purpose … to help us achieve and immprove ourselves.
oh, and to eat a ALOT of dark, wonderful chocolate.
sure … thanks for inviting me to read your blog. I will be back !

For me, my ultimate aim is to live each and every moment and to be happy, no matter what! Life is temporary, why to waste on unimportant things that doesn’t bother at last….what bother is the love that you gather from loved ones! Enjoy!
September 22, 2008 at 4:52 pm
Hi..
to me the ultimate aim in life is simple
to search for peace within myself…
September 22, 2008 at 5:08 pm
@ Brittany
Hi, Brittany. I loved ur words so much. In fact I was wondering you will come out with such idea. For eg: “Living from the Heart” is more better than the word”Happiness”.
September 22, 2008 at 5:16 pm
@lostintranslation11
Hi , “Self-Love” I am interested to get this word from U.
How many of us here love ourselves? well, The truth is we never love ourselves. Of course I knew many people who love themselves too.
If U see, a lot of us will tease ourselves(why I have done this? How can I miss the chance? Damn God the one who studied poor than me got a job. why I couldn’t and a lot more).
If we self love ourselves, sure Life will be wonderful.
September 23, 2008 at 9:22 pm
That’s such a general and tough question. There can be many aims in ones life. It all depends on how you want to “tackle” it and what you want to challenge first. I guess my aim in life is sort of broad, but I find myself trying to please the ones close-est to me before pleasing myself. In my life it feel like many of the people, in my life, rely on me. When I ignore, or don’t talk to them, for awhile, they start to freak out and panic. Yet when they ignore, or don’t talk to me, for awhile I just don’t mind it. So to make my life easier, I don’t ignore said people.
September 27, 2008 at 11:23 pm
My ultimate aim for life is to be humble enough to accept God’s will for my life and to be led by the Holy Spirit.
September 30, 2008 at 6:22 am
I feel the aim of life is to get pleasure (ananda) because we do each and every karma to get pleasure (even a simple act of changing posture). So now we have to decide what is the most pleasurable thing on this earth. Some people feel it is wealth, some feel fame, etc., but the people who are blessed with these things are also sad, which means these things cannot give us an everlasting joy. so what is that which is everlasting joy……….and that is our aim to get in this life
October 2, 2008 at 3:17 am
life is all about love….
love u need..
love u get..
love u give..
October 14, 2008 at 6:04 pm
It is not any of the surface level things mentioned to date. The ultimate aim is to remember what you knew before you arrived here – that the physical world and spiritual world is nothing more than a dream in our collective mind. Separation and division is is a hallucination. There is only one mind/one soul – and we are it. Everything else is a dream.
October 16, 2008 at 9:31 pm
Love is not love until you give it away.
October 19, 2008 at 7:37 pm
GOD loved
GOD gave
WE believe
WE live
November 21, 2008 at 10:31 am
eating, drinking, enjoying, loving, giving etc is all useless unless you achieve & set an example for coming generations by doing some thing great for the humanity in this world. people should be able to remember you with respect and dignity.
November 22, 2008 at 11:14 pm
life is all about you it is all about us.
lets live it with love devotion and apreciation and honor god by praying ,forgiving each other praying to oyur beloved parents
the greatest gift from allah,
to wish peace of mind to every body.
January 12, 2009 at 6:06 pm
thank God for his mercy and kindness hearth he has for his creatures.
i don’t have much to say but what i will add to what have be said already is that, we should continue to feel happy within our soul, lets forgive easily and learn to ask for mercy on our soul. God has giving us wisdom and knowledge for free to choose what we want to achieve with our life, we should think deeply and remember that whatever we do on this earth is our mind that direct our path therefore we should pray to ask God to lead us becuase we are blind folks on this earth and if we follow our own direction and our mind we are defenetely going to be a loser.
we should rejoice in Christ and feel happy.nobody can really interprate what God has for human beings for the future which i belief is only God who knows it.
bless that we still living and lets thank God for ever panny that we aiming.
take care

life is something which is very beautiful. it is something how you see it; from whcih perspective you want to see it. it’s full with joy and sorrows. just love it than u will live it.
